Lakeside Basin Review
The East of England Regional Assembly are carrying out a Single Issue Review of the Lakeside Basin. This has been suggested by the Secretary of State as the Thurrock Local Development Framework and the TTGC have differing views on Lakesde and its surrounding area development. There are three options varying in degrees of change from option 1 being little chang to option3 with massive changes including more retail more industry and more housing, there appears to be no road changes in this option 3. Local people can have their say going onto the following link. This consultation runs to the 8th February. It is most important for local people to get involved as the Lakeside Basin in a point of overcrouding of vehicles at certain parts of the day and parts of the year.
